ADAPT Training 2026: Planning for Research Impact

Eva Power, Emma Clarke and Cara Greene from the ADAPT Centre visited KinIT for a one-day training on planning and delivering impactful research engagement.

The day opened with a case study of the award-winning #DiscussAI, Ireland’s National Conversation on AI, where the ADAPT team talked KInIT’s team through their projects and their approach to engaged research.

In the afternoon, an interactive, practical session illustrated the use of logic models. In groups, participants explored impact categories and ranked the areas of impact most important for their research.
